The Dress:
"To me, fashion is more than the clothes that we wear. It is a feeling-- a feeling of freedom, of adventure, and of confidence. Fashion is about having the courage to take a risk, to not be afraid of falling, and to let our imagination soar..." -Wendy's Lookbook

My Obsession with Leighton Meester/Blair Waldorf's Sailor Dress
So I have got to admit: I am completely, utterly OBSESSED with this dress. I love how the collar is so avant-garde, how the skirt is so form fitting, how the buttons are so cute... Ohhh, how I wish I could own it!

OOTD: Camel Cape in Caramel Creme
I love camel because it's such a soft, nude, warm color that will go well with pretty much anything and is great for any time of year. In order to contrast the softness, I paired the camel cape with some black booties and gloves to give it an edgier look. The black toggles give the cape some cool contrast as well. This outfit is a city-sleek look that would be great for a night out in New York City, Chicago, or Boston during the wintertime. I can almost even see this as a cute ice skating outfit!

What's the big deal with the Missoni print?
Sure, it may be colorful. Sure, it may be interesting. Sure, it may be unique. My question is: Is it really worth the hype? Ever since Missoni launched its collaboration with Target, girls have SWARMED to the stores and fought over the pieces. With an average price of around $40 at Target...they're really not that cheap. Given, if the design was classic, I would consider investing, but with such a trendy style that will probably be out of fashion next season, is it really worth freaking out over?

OOTD: Selective Color Photograph
What I absolutely LOVE about this outfit is the way the red ferociously POPS out of an otherwise monochromatic color scheme. I wouldn't really call it color blocking, because the effect that it creates is not the same as if I were to pair a yellow shirt with a purple skirt. Whatever you call it, it's undeniable that the pop of red really adds fire to the piece.
