The Chill that Haunts My Heart

Sometimes, things can change in the blink of an eye. Sometimes, everything you ever wanted, ever knew, ever needed....ever loved...just disappears with the past into oblivion. Sometimes, when you wake up, you realize that nothing is ever going to be the same again. Sometimes...sometimes...sometimes...

There are times when the snow starts falling that I feel a chill. I feel as if the winter world outside is a world inside of me-- a world in which my heart is frozen, my blood stops flowing through my veins, and my bones creak to the crackle of icicles.

What did I do wrong?

Why can I not feel happiness?

Is there anyone out there?

Why did things have to end up like this?

Why am I left alone...?

Alone in the cold...

Sometimes, I want to break free.

I want to ascend to where I can find true happiness...

Whoa! Did I just hear "winter" and "florals" in the same sentence?

The conventional idea that florals should not be worn during winter is just as ridiculous as the rule that says white should not be worn after Labor Day. Of course florals can be worn during the wintertime! They just need to be in darker, muted colors that don't clash with the rest of your winter wardrobe. Paired with tights and booties, florals can add a lot of fun to an otherwise drab winter outfit. So have some fun and be daring!
