There are times when nobody seems to understand-- times when people just don't seem to give a damn about you. However, you have to realize that there's nothing you can do about it. All you can do is stand up straight, smile, and look good. The world is a cruel place and sometimes, you will inevitably be the victim of a cruel twist of fate. Although we all want things to be black and white all the time, there will be times when the two colors mix to give us a combination that can be both distressing and incredible; it all depends on what you make of it.
