Winter is cold (at least where I live), and nobody wants to go around wearing a flimsy skirt that exposes bare skin to harsh winds. But don't worry! Fashion does not have to be compromised for comfort. Leather skirts and shorts (worn with tights to provide maximum warmth) are great alternatives to summer and fall skirts for the holiday season. A lot of people tend to avoid them because they think that leather is too "tough" and too "tomboyish", but they couldn't be more wrong. Though some leather bottoms are geared towards the "tough girl", there are many that are modified with pleats, color, shimmer, etc. that appeal to more girly girls. In other words, there is simply no excuse for not loving a good leather skirt or pair of shorts this season.
