Now, I'll be the first to admit this: I am short. At exactly 5 feet 2 inches, I'm not exactly what you'd call "hot stuff". However, as with all unfortunate situations, there is hope! For shorties like me, nude heels are the perfect solution. Not only do they have the heel part to add an extra 4 inches to any height, but their skin-toned color helps create the illusion of longer, thinner legs. Why? Because unlike your normal black or brown or whatever-color shoe, they don't have that block of color that cuts off your body at the ankle. Instead, nude colored shoes (yes, for you heel-haters, nude flats will do the same trick) allow your body to flow without interruption all the way to your toes. Of course, to get the desired effect, one must choose the shoe carefully so as to make sure that the color matches one's skin tone. Thankfully, nude heels (and flats) come in all shapes, sizes, and shades, so finding the perfect pair should not be a problem at all.
