Most of you've probably worn an ugly Christmas or Hanukkah or Kwanzaa (or any other holiday) sweater at one point or another, wishing that fashion and festivities didn't have to clash. Well, thankfully, they don't have to! Fair Isle sweaters are perfect alternatives for the fashionista caught in the holiday spirit. The name comes from an island in northern Scotland, where the classic pattern originated. Although they may look a bit funky at first glance, I think Fair Isle sweaters are actually pretty adorable.
